As a Reception Team Member (40 Hour Contract) you’ll be the first point of contact for our guests and play an important role in creating a warm, welcoming, and professional experience from arrival through to departure. You’ll work as part of the Front Office team, assisting guests with check-ins, check-outs, enquiries, reservations, and any requests they may have during their stay. Your friendly and professional approach will help ensure every guest feels valued and well looked after.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming and greeting guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Checking guests in and out efficiently and accurately
- Handling guest enquiries, requests, and feedback with a positive attitude
- Providing information about the hotel, facilities, local area, and services
- Managing reservations, room allocations, and guest accounts where required
- Answering telephone calls and responding to guest enquiries
- Ensuring the reception and front-of-house areas are clean, tidy, and welcoming
- Assisting with guest issues and resolving problems professionally and promptly
- Maintaining high standards of customer service, presentation, and professionalism
- Working as part of a team to deliver a seamless guest experience
