We are currently collaborating with a new UK based Architectural, Design and Workplace consultancy, their expertise lies in Residential and Commercial sectors. With an office in London their team collaborate seamlessly to bring projects to successful completion.
Our client is currently seeking to recruit an Architectural Technologist to join them in their London office to work on High-end residential schemes and to help grow the company. As an Architectural Technologist in a consultancy, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between architectural design and construction.
Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Work closely with architects to transform design concepts into detailed technical drawings, plans, and specifications. This includes creating floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
- Use BIM software to create accurate and detailed digital models of buildings. This helps in visualizing the design, detecting clashes, and coordinating with other disciplines.
- Ensure that designs comply with local and national building regulations and codes, covering aspects like safety, accessibility, fire protection, and energy efficiency.
- Manage and coordinate multiple projects, including client budgets, schedules, and communications. This includes facilitating project meetings and performing site and field reviews.
- Provide technical advice on materials, construction methods, and innovative solutions to design problems.
