We are currently working with a well-established Main Contractor that has been operating for over 10 years and specialises in luxury residential developments. They are known for delivering bespoke, high-end homes, combining unique designs with skilled craftsmanship and the finest materials.
The business undertakes projects ranging from single-unit developments to schemes of up to 40 units, including high-end one-off properties and eco-friendly homes. Projects can reach up to 15,000 sq ft and are located across Surrey and the South East.
Backed by significant private investment, the company is continuing to grow and is now looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial team in delivering these prestigious schemes. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career within the high-end residential sector, gaining exposure to complex, design-led projects.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with cost planning and budget preparation
- Supporting the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers
- Preparing and reviewing tender documentation
- Assisting with valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Monitoring project costs and supporting financial reporting
- Working closely with the Senior QS and Project Managers to ensure commercial control throughout the project lifecycle
