The group has a turnover of over £700 million across the UK.\\n\\nOver the last 25 years, they have built partnering relationships and have a substantial order book and a large pipeline for upcoming projects across the UK. We are working for the business unit that specialises in New Build projects and works across London and the South.\\n\\nThey work on a mixture of new build and refurbishment schemes for private & public sectors, local authorities, and housing associations.
Types of schemes include residential, education, regeneration, student accommodation, leisure, Retirement Living and extra care, with construction values ranging from £5 million to £100+ million.\\n\\nThey have built a strong top-tier management team that has a proven track record and strong credentials.\\n\\n#The Role\\n\\nOur client is currently seeking to recruit a Retrofit Technical Solutions Advisor to join their team in Hertfordshire.\\n\\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for delivering in house retrofit coordinator on live projects ensuring compliance with PAS2035 standards and best practices in retrofit assessment, coordination, and design.\\n\\nThe role also requires staying updated on policy changes, funding opportunities, and technological advancements to drive high-quality retrofit solutions.\\n\\n##Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:\\n\\n-Deliver Retrofit Coordination on live projects, ensuring full compliance with PAS2035 frameworks, applying best practices, providing technical oversight, and driving smooth project execution\\n\\n-Conduct detailed Retrofit Assessments, evaluating property suitability, identifying opportunities for improvement, and recommending appropriate energy efficiency measures\\n\\n-Support quality assurance (QA) activities across Retrofit Assessments (RAs), Retrofit Coordination (RCs), and Retrofit Designs (RDs), ensuring technical accuracy, compliance, and consistency with required standards\\n\\n-Assist with the verification of project data, audit trails, and technical documentation to support compliance audits, funding submissions, and project reporting\\n\\n-Collaborate with technical teams, project managers, and contractors to integrate retrofit measures seamlessly into project programmes and construction activities, maintaining alignment with sustainability objectives\\n\\n-Identify and resolve technical challenges throughout project delivery, proactively engaging with stakeholders to develop compliant and effective solutions\\n\\n-Participate in project reviews and technical meetings, contributing insights on retrofit strategies, risk mitigation, and continuous process improvement\\n\\n-Contribute to the development of internal procedures, process guides, and training materials, standardising retrofit workflows, compliance systems, and quality controls\\n\\n-Stay informed of industry developments, funding schemes, and policy updates, ensuring internal processes and project delivery remain aligned with the latest sustainability and retrofit standards\\n\\n-Conduct pre- and post-retrofit evaluations, analysing performance data, measuring the impact of installed measures, and identifying areas for optimisation\\n\\n-Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure full compliance with industry standards and accreditation requirements\\n\\n-Support the development of funding and incentive strategies, identifying opportunities to maximise financial efficiency within retrofit programmes\\n\\n-Provide technical input to procurement teams, ensuring the selection of compliant, sustainable materials and contractors that meet PAS2035 requirements\\n\\n-Undertake any other reasonable management duties to support retrofit delivery, compliance, and sustainability objectives
