Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) Location: Canterbury, Kent – Scattered Housing Projects – Various Sites Salary: £30,000 + £5,000 Travel/Car Allowance Contract: Full-Time, Permanent About the Company We’re proud to be partnering with a leading national property services contractor that has been delivering excellence in building repairs, maintenance, and improvement works for over 30 years. Their work spans four key divisions: * Social Housing Repairs & Maintenance * Commercial Office Fit-Out * Heritage Preservation * Public Sector Maintenance The Role We are seeking a Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to join the team delivering projects under the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF). You’ll play a vital role in maintaining excellent communication between residents, site teams, and clients throughout the project lifecycle. This programme focuses on improving the energy efficiency of social housing properties, including: * Loft Insulation * Ventilation Upgrades * Window Replacements * M&E System Upgrades * Cavity and Solid Wall Insulation You’ll initally be working across a mix of houses and flats, followed by a further two years of ongoing works under the same scheme. Key Responsibilities * Act as the main point of contact for residents before, during, and after works. * Coordinate appointments, surveys, and access for contractors. * Address resident queries and resolve issues in a professional and empathetic manner. * Ensure residents are informed of project timelines, progress, and any potential disruptions. * Support the site team to deliver a smooth, resident-focused service. About You * Previous experience as an RLO, Resident Liaison Officer, or Tenant Liaison Officer within the social housing or property maintenance sector. * Excellent communication and organisational skills. * Strong customer service ethos and ability to manage sensitive situations. * Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
