Our client is Design & build and Refurbishment specialist for the residential and Commercial sectors across London and the Southeast. The business is split into three divisions that include Development, New Build Residential and Regeneration and refurbishment, Fire Safety & Retrofit Decarbonisation. The Role – Quantity Surveyor Our client is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor the join them in their maintenance and refurbishment division. As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be a pivotal figure in managing the financial aspects of our client’s construction projects. Collaborating closely with project teams, engineers, subcontractors, and clients, you’ll analyse project expenses, prepare estimates, and monitor costs throughout the project lifecycle. Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects * Collaborate with project teams to track and manage project costs * Analyse project budgets, expenses, and variances to ensure financial control * Review subcontractor and supplier contracts for cost optimization * Provide detailed reports on project financial performance * Mentor and guide junior quantity surveyors, fostering their professional growth
