Contracts Manager Location: Projects in London and around M25 Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 (DOE) + Car Allowance + Benefits About the Company Our client is a leading specialist main contractor delivering façade, cladding, remediation and building safety projects across the UK. Working with housing providers, local authorities and developers. They have established a reputation for delivering high-quality refurbishment and compliance-led schemes that improve building performance, energy efficiency and resident safety. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the successful delivery of multiple projects across their portfolio. The Role As Contracts Manager, you will take full operational responsibility for a number of projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with clients, commercial teams and site-based management, you will provide leadership throughout the project lifecycle while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for an established Contracts Manager or a Senior Project Manager looking to step into a broader leadership role within a growing and highly respected contractor. Key Responsibilities * Managing the delivery of multiple projects simultaneously from pre-construction through to completion * Leading and supporting site teams to achieve programme, quality and safety objectives * Building and maintaining strong client relationships throughout project delivery * Monitoring project performance, identifying risks and implementing mitigation measures * Ensuring projects are delivered in line with contractual obligations and company standards * Working closely with commercial teams to manage project profitability and financial performance * Leading project review meetings and providing regular progress updates to senior management * Ensuring health, safety, environmental and quality standards are maintained at all times * Supporting resource planning and programme management across multiple workstreams * Driving continuous improvement and best practice across projects About You * Proven experience as a Contracts Manager, Senior Project Manager or equivalent within the construction sector * Strong background delivering refurbishment, remediation, façade, cladding, planned maintenance or major works projects * Ability to manage multiple projects and operational teams simultaneously * Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills * Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project financial performance * Demonstrable leadership and people management experience * Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving skills * Full UK driving licence Desirable Experience * Social housing, building safety, façade remediation or fire safety schemes * Experience managing projects for local authorities, housing associations or main contractors * Relevant construction qualification (HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent) * SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications What's on Offer? * Competitive salary and benefits package * Car allowance * Bonus opportunity * Hybrid and flexible working arrangements * Clear progression into senior operational leadership roles * Opportunity to work on high-profile and technically challenging projects * Stable and growing business with a strong pipeline of secured work * Supportive, collaborative and professional working environment If you're an experienced Contracts Manager looking to join a market-leading contractor and play a key role in delivering complex construction and remediation projects across the UK, we'd love to hear from you
