We are currently collaborating with a leading property services main contractor that works with some of the UK's largest clients to provide strategic building repairs, planned maintenance and improvement across all property sectors. Established over 30 years ago, the company continues to be family-run maintaining a strong reputation nationally for providing exceptional service. They have four divisions, including social housing repairs and maintenance, commercial office fit out, heritage preservation and public sector maintenance.
The Role
Our client is seeking a Senior Site Manager to join their team in Kent, working on SHDF Retrofit Works for a local authority contract. This role will involve full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the contract, acting as the key lead for delivery, coordination, and performance on site. Following successful delivery, there is a strong opportunity to transition onto a future External Wall Insulation (EWI) project within Kent.
Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Managing the day-to-day running of the SHDF retrofit contract
- Overseeing site teams, subcontractors, and supply chain partners
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget
- Acting as the main point of contact with the local authority client
- Monitoring quality, compliance, and performance standards
- Monitoring and assisting with programme, reporting, and progress reviews
- Coordinating handovers, completions, and defect resolution
- Supporting commercial control and cost management
