The company undertakes new build, refurbishment, alteration and specialist works, often on complex, live or logistically challenging sites.
Role Overview
Looking for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of construction projects. This role is ideal for a motivated Assistant / Trainee QS looking to develop their career within a hands-on construction environment, working closely with senior commercial staff and site teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with cost planning and budget management
- Support procurement of subcontractors and suppliers
- Assist with preparation of subcontract orders
- Measure works and assist with valuations
- Assist with variations and change management
- Support interim applications and final accounts
- Maintain accurate cost records and reporting
- Liaise with site managers and suppliers
- Assist with general commercial administration
Skills & Experience
- 2–5 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role
- Experience within construction or main contracting preferred
- Basic knowledge of JCT contracts
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally
- Good communication skills
