The Opportunity An opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager to support growth across the London commercial property and construction market. The successful candidate will focus on developing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients and industry professionals, and identifying projects at an early stage to help generate a sustainable pipeline of work. Working closely with internal commercial, pre-construction and operational teams, you will help identify target markets, strengthen existing relationships and secure opportunities for future projects. Key Responsibilities * Identify and develop new business opportunities across the commercial property and construction sectors. * Build and maintain relationships with developers, landlords, occupiers, consultants and other key industry stakeholders. * Research upcoming projects, planning applications, market activity and investment opportunities. * Develop a pipeline of potential projects, tracking opportunities from early design through to procurement. * Arrange and attend client meetings, presentations and networking events. * Identify procurement routes, client requirements, project programmes and potential competitors. * Support tender and pre-construction teams by providing market intelligence and client insight. * Contribute to business development plans, sector growth strategies and key account management. * Work collaboratively with marketing and operational teams to raise market awareness and generate new opportunities. * Monitor progress against business development targets, including tender invitations and secured work. About You * Proven business development experience within construction, fit-out, property or a related consultancy environment. * Established network of contacts within the London commercial property market. * Experience engaging with clients, consultants and other key decision-makers. * Good understanding of construction procurement routes and the commercial project lifecycle. * Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills. * Commercially aware, proactive and confident identifying and developing new opportunities. * Well organised, self-motivated and comfortable working towards growth targets
