Our client is currently seeking to recruit an Architectural Technologist to join them in their London office to work on high-end residential schemes and to help grow the company. As an Architectural Technologist in a consultancy, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between architectural design and construction.
Responsibilities- Work closely with architects to transform design concepts into detailed technical drawings, plans, and specifications. This includes creating floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
- Use BIM software to create accurate and detailed digital models of buildings. This helps in visualising the design, detecting clashes, and coordinating with other disciplines.
- Ensure that designs comply with local and national building regulations and codes, covering aspects like safety, accessibility, fire protection, and energy efficiency.
- Manage and coordinate multiple projects, including client budgets, schedules, and communications. This includes facilitating project meetings and performing site and field reviews.
- Provide technical advice on materials, construction methods, and innovative solutions to design problems.
