The Role An opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join an established construction business delivering a varied portfolio of projects across the sector. The successful candidate will support the commercial management of projects from procurement through to completion, working closely with project teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure effective cost control and successful delivery. The project: A Cut & carve refurbishment scheme based in Cambridge valuing circa £10 milliion. Key Responsibilities * Manage the commercial aspects of allocated construction projects. * Prepare and review budgets, cost reports, forecasts and valuations. * Manage subcontractor procurement, appointments and payments. * Monitor variations, changes to scope and associated costs. * Assist with contract administration and the agreement of final accounts. * Identify commercial risks and opportunities throughout project delivery. * Maintain accurate commercial records and reporting. * Liaise with site teams, clients, consultants and subcontractors. About You * Previous experience in a Quantity Surveying role within the construction industry. * Good understanding of construction contracts, procurement and commercial processes. * Experience managing costs, subcontractor accounts and project documentation. * Strong organisational, numerical and communication skills. * Ability to work effectively with a range of project stakeholders. * Relevant construction or Quantity Surveying qualification preferred
