Our client, a long‑established national provider of repairs and maintenance services within the social housing sector, is seeking to appoint an experienced Repairs Operations Manager / Contracts Manager. With over 20 years of proven delivery across social housing, health and defence environments, the organisation is recognised for its robust in‑house delivery model, covering responsive repairs, maintenance, voids refurbishment and planned works. This is a pivotal, fully office‑based role responsible for leading the operational delivery of a reactive repairs contract. The successful candidate will oversee office teams, coordinate field operatives, and act as the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring exceptional service performance and commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full operational ownership of the reactive repairs contract, ensuring KPIs, service standards and client expectations are consistently achieved.
- Monitor and drive performance of field operatives, ensuring productivity, quality and first‑time fix rates remain high.
- Lead, support and develop the office‑based scheduling team, providing structure, direction and daily operational oversight.
- Act as the primary escalation point for operational issues, ensuring swift and effective resolution.

- A confident communicator capable of managing client relationships at all levels.
