Role Overview
We are seeking a highly connected and commercially driven Business Development Networker to support growth within the Dubai turnkey design and build interiors market. The role is focused on building and maintaining relationships with key market influencers including leasing agents, commercial brokers, asset managers, landlords, developers, property managers, project managers, consultants and corporate occupiers. The objective is to identify upcoming office moves, refurbishments, landlord upgrades, tenant fit-outs and design and build opportunities before they formally come to market. This is a relationship-led role requiring someone who is active in the Dubai commercial property market, confident in networking environments and capable of turning market intelligence into live project opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Networking & Relationship Building
- Build strong working relationships with commercial letting agents, brokers, asset managers, landlords, developers and property consultants.
- Maintain regular contact with market influencers to understand upcoming leasing activity, tenant movements, refurbishments and building upgrades.
- Develop relationships with office occupiers, hospitality operators, retail brands and corporate end users.
- Create a strong referral network that generates early-stage opportunities before projects reach formal tender stage.
- Track commercial leasing activity, new lease events, tenant relocations, lease expiries, office expansions and workplace refurbishment requirements.
- Identify projects linked to new office lettings, CAT A upgrades, CAT B fit-outs, landlord works, show suites, fitted office solutions and asset repositioning.
- Work closely with agents and asset managers to understand building vacancies, tenant requirements and landlord incentives.
- Gather intelligence on occupier timelines, budgets, procurement routes, decision-makers and preferred consultants.
- Convert relationship intelligence into qualified leads for the Business Development and Pre-Contract teams.
- Arrange and attend introductory meetings with landlords, agents, asset managers, occupiers and consultants.
- Present the company’s design and build capability, project experience and value proposition.
- Support early client conversations around workplace strategy, budget expectations, programme, approvals and delivery approach.
- Maintain professional follow-up with prospects and market contacts.
- Act as a market-facing representative of the business, ensuring a polished and credible presence.
- Build confidence with clients and stakeholders by sharing relevant project examples, market insight and practical fit-out advice.
- Maintain a structured pipeline of market relationships, live opportunities and future prospects.
- Record all contacts, meetings, referrals and project intelligence within the CRM system.
- Work with the telesales researcher to validate market information and identify decision-makers.
- Work with the Business Development Manager to prioritise target accounts, buildings and opportunities.
- Support the conversion of leads into meetings, pitch opportunities, tenders and negotiated projects.
- Provide weekly market updates on leasing activity, competitor movement, upcoming opportunities and key relationship developments.
Required Experience
- Previous experience in business development, networking, commercial real estate, fit-out, design and build, workplace interiors, property leasing or related B2B sales.
- Strong understanding of the Dubai commercial property and interiors market.
- Existing relationships with commercial leasing agents, landlords, developers, asset managers, property managers, consultants or occupiers would be highly advantageous.
- Proven ability to generate leads through networking and relationship building.
- Experience working with corporate occupiers, office relocations, commercial fit-out or landlord refurbishment projects is preferred.
- Comfortable attending meetings, events and industry functions as a representative of the business.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be a natural networker with strong knowledge of the Dubai commercial property market and the confidence to build relationships with agents, landlords, asset managers and occupiers. They should understand that successful design and build opportunities are often created long before a formal tender is issued. The right person will be visible in the market, trusted by key contacts and able to identify early signals such as lease events, tenant moves, building upgrades, refurbishments and fitted office requirements. This role is suited to someone who enjoys meeting people, sharing market insight, opening doors and helping convert relationships into profitable turnkey design and build opportunities.
