An FMCG customer is looking for an experienced Sage 200 Professional consultant to support a short-term standardisation project. The objective is to create a brand-new Sage 200 company using only standard functionality and migrate away from an existing bespoke Sage environment. This is a delivery-focused, hands-on role suited to a senior consultant with strong operational and stock experience.

Responsibilities
- Build and configure a new Sage 200 Professional company from scratch (standard / no customisations).
- Configure core modules: Purchasing, Inventory / Stock.
- Define and configure: Stock structures, stock types, and units of measure; Inventory valuation methods and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS); Customers, suppliers, products, and opening balances.
- Align system configuration with standard business processes.
- Support testing, validation, and go-live.
Required Experience
- Strong hands‑on experience with Sage 200 Professional implementations.
- Proven experience building new Sage 200 companies and migrating from legacy or bespoke setups.
- Strong functional knowledge across purchasing and stock movements and controls, inventory valuation methods, and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
Nice to Have
- Experience in operational environments such as wholesale, distribution.
- Experience working in fast‑paced, transaction‑heavy businesses.
