Our client is looking for a talented React Developer to help shape and evolve their web applications. If you’re passionate about clean code, modern front-end technologies, and building exceptional user experiences, this could be your next move.
About the Role
As a React Front End Developer, you’ll be part of a collaborative, fast-moving team working across the full development lifecycle, from initial concept and architecture through to deployment and ongoing optimisation. You’ll work closely with backend engineers, QA specialists, and our brand team to deliver high-quality features that make a real impact. In our small but ambitious team, your ideas won’t just be heard, they’ll shape the future of our products and business.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing, building, and delivering high-quality software features
- Taking ownership of your work from concept through to production and beyond
- Writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code
- Collaborating with stakeholders to scope and deliver effective solutions
- Ensuring performance, stability, and usability across our applications
- Continuously improving processes, code quality, and user experience

What We’re Looking For
- Proven commercial experience with React
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns (SOLID)
- Experience working with RESTful APIs
- A passion for clean, maintainable code
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
- Strong attention to detail
- Confidence working with ambiguous requirements
- Experience writing robust unit tests
- Knowledge of state management, context, and lazy loading
- Experience with Git/version control
- Understanding of OAuth 2 authorisation
- A proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and innovation
Nice to Have
- Experience with automated testing (integration/UI)
- CI/CD pipeline experience
- Storybook or visual regression tools (e.g. Backstop, Chromatic)
- Backend framework experience (ASP.NET, Django, Rails)
- Docker knowledge
- Experience with Google Tag Manager
