About Recallify
Recallify is a digital cognitive support platform designed to help people with memory and executive-function challenges, including acquired brain injury (ABI), ADHD, long-term conditions, and other cognitive differences. We are launching a new externally funded feasibility study and are seeking a part-time Research Assistant to support its delivery.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
- A Psychology undergraduate degree (2:1 or above or equivalent)
- A completed Master’s degree in Psychology, Cognitive Neuroscience, Neuropsychology, Health Psychology, or a closely related field
- The legal right to work in the UK

Role Overview
This is a 12-month, part-time role (0.6 FTE) suitable for someone aiming for a Clinical Psychology Doctorate, a research career, or experience in digital mental and cognitive health. You will support recruitment, assessments, participant engagement, and day-to-day coordination of a digital neurorehabilitation study.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with participant recruitment and onboarding
- Conduct baseline and follow-up assessments with validated measures (e.g., SUS, EQ-5D-5L, NEADL, GAD-7, PHQ-9)
- Provide weekly coaching/support sessions to participants using the Recallify app
- Conduct or assist with qualitative interviews and contribute to thematic analysis
- Manage study data in line with GDPR and support mixed-methods analysis
- Maintain regular communication with participants
- Support PPIE and workshop coordination
- Maintain study logs and documentation
- Light app testing before participant use
- Preparing simple informational materials using templates
- Triage participant/user enquiries
- Assist with scheduling, shared folders, and organisational tasks
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong grounding in psychology and human research methods
- Confidence working with individuals with cognitive or communication difficulties
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and flexibly
- Comfortable using digital tools and working remotely
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience with digital or mobile research studies
- Experience with neurological or cognitive impairment populations
- Mixed-methods experience (basic stats + qualitative coding)
- Interest in digital therapeutics, AI in health, or neurorehabilitation
- Experience with usability testing or co-design
