Our client is a globally backed and growing customer facing business that is rapidly expanding and has recently secured additional funding to accelerate their growth. They have received a number of accolades for their initiatives and are quickly growing their reputation as one of the leaders in their market. Their success has been due to the collaboration between all members of their team and senior management to ensure that their customers stay at the forefront of everything they do.
This is a hybrid role based between home, Head Office, and site-based. The Marketing Manager role is a new addition to the business and will have the freedom and autonomy to manage the entire management budget and ROI to build the brand, drive enquiries, and footfall to maximise sales and profitability. The role will cover social, PPC, local, and regional marketing campaigns while also liaising with external agencies to ensure clarity in the story being told and that the campaigns are fully aligned.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding and experience in all aspects of the marketing cycle in a customer facing environment such as hospitality, retail, or the service industry. Above all, they will be highly creative with the ability to think outside the box and create and deliver campaigns that stand out from the crowd. This role is not for someone who is shy about coming up with new initiatives and incentives.
Uniquely, the right individual will be involved in shaping their own job description with the ultimate outcome being to grow the brand, drive exciting and unique campaigns, and increase footfall to grow sales and profitability. If you have a passion and drive to come up with new ideas (slightly crazy is fine), the ability to maximise ROI, and want to make a business stand out from the rest, this may be the role for you. Experience will not define the ideal candidate; it is very much about the right individual. You could be a recent graduate with hands-on work experience, currently in a customer facing marketing role wanting to take the next step in your career, or an experienced marketing manager feeling like your wings are clipped and wanting the autonomy to let your mind loose and expand the boundaries to really get a business to stand out.
