Not Available (UK Right to Work Required) Job Purpose My clint is the UK's largest provider of NHS cataract surgery, and they are in the middle of one of the most exciting digital transformations in UK healthcare. They are rolling out AI-powered diagnostics, automated patient bookings, AI-driven call handling, and RPA for referrals processing across 70+ sites nationally. As part of our growing Business Improvement function, they are looking for a Project Manager to help implement these cutting-edge AI and automation initiatives. You will oversee the planning, execution, and tracking of key operational projects of both a clinical and non-clinical nature, working alongside our Change Manager to ensure transformation initiatives are delivered and embedded effectively. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with a
strong possibility of becoming permanent

making you significantly more employable for the future. Key Outputs Manage the project lifecycle from initiation through to closure, ensuring all project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.
Utilising the ARC Project Management system, develop and maintain accurate project plans, schedules, supporting documents, and budgets, regularly reporting on progress to key stakeholders as required.
Identify and document project risks and issues, escalating appropriately to develop mitigation strategies to minimise any negative impact on project delivery.
Coordinate project team members and ensure that all team members understand their roles and responsibilities, securing robust follow up of actions and progress.
Confidently facilitate meetings and workshops through clear and engaging communication methods, enabling open and honest input from subject matter experts and stakeholders.
Ensure effective communication and collaboration across all stakeholders, including team members and vendors where applicable.
Utilise Prince 2 and/or Agile methodologies to deliver projects where appropriate, adapting the approach depending on project requirements.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and support the development of up-to-date and relevant maps, ensuring version control requirements are understood.
Manage project budgets and resources to ensure that projects are delivered within budget, scope and within agreed timeframes.
Ensure that all project documentation is completed to a high standard and is kept up to date throughout the project lifecycle.
Build and maintain strong working relationships across the business, ensuring a positive team environment where motivation and excellent team spirit thrive.
Undertake and lead a variety of projects as required by the business.
Qualifications & Experience Essential Experience / Skills Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Project Manager.
Proven experience in the delivery of medium to large-scale complex, digital projects in a fast-paced environment.
Proven experience managing projects
end-to-end
not just components of larger programmes.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Demonstrable ability to identify and manage project risks.
Experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project or similar tools.
Prince 2 and/or Agile certification is essential.
Demonstrable leadership experience, with the ability to drive effective cross-functional collaboration.
Developed and engaging communication skills, with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
Advanced skills in MS Office applications are essential.
Highly Desirable Experience / Skills Experience with
AI, Automation, or Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
this is a real bonus.
Experience with Lean/Six Sigma certification (e.g., Green Belt) is highly desirable.
Developed skill in business process mapping is desirable.
Experience with change management methodology is desirable.
Experience within a healthcare setting is advantageous.
Experience in a contact centre/customer service environment is advantageous.
