Fancy a role where no two days look the same?

This is a family-run, online fashion retail business, looking for a bright, organised and commercially minded E-Commerce Assistant to join our team.

This is a varied role supporting all areas of their e-commerce operation, including product management, buying, marketing, stock replenishment and commercial analysis. Your workload will change depending on the needs of the business, making this an ideal position for someone who enjoys variety and is comfortable working with both data and written content.

The key purpose of the role is to take ownership of essential day-to-day e-commerce and administrative tasks.

The role will include

  • Creating and maintaining product listings for the website, Amazon, eBay and other marketplaces.
  • Maintaining accurate product, pricing and catalogue data.
  • Writing engaging and accurate product descriptions.
  • Cropping and preparing product imagery.
  • Using Excel to analyse sales and product performance.
  • Identifying bestsellers, slower-moving products and potential sale lines.
  • Assisting with future buying plans using historical sales data.
  • Generating replenishment orders for bestselling products.
  • Carrying out competitor and pricing analysis across different markets.
  • Assisting with website maintenance and marketing administration.
  • Providing general e-commerce and administrative support across the business.
  • Providing customer service cover during busy periods, holidays and sickness.

What we're looking for

  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Excellent written English, spelling and grammar.
  • A creative flair for writing product descriptions.
  • Good numerical and analytical ability.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational and general computer skills.
  • A flexible, proactive approach to a varied workload.
  • An interest in fashion, e-commerce and online retail.

Previous e-commerce or online retail experience would be useful, but we are primarily looking for someone capable, adaptable and keen to learn.

Hours & benefits

  • Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm.
  • £28,000 starting salary, rising to £30,000 once fully trained and competent in the role.
  • 20% staff discount.
  • Free parking.
  • Easily accessible, just off Junction 26 of the M62.

If you're organised, numerate, and ready to get stuck into a genuinely varied e-commerce role, we'd love to hear from you.
