Senior Recruitment Consultant – Civil Engineering | £40,000 – £60,000 Basic + Uncapped Commission | Established Warm Desk | Leadership Progression

Are you an experienced Recruitment Consultant with a background in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure, Highways, Rail or Utilities recruitment?

Do you want to inherit an established desk with live vacancies, long-standing client relationships, and a genuine opportunity to progress into Divisional Leadership or Director level?

Our client is a highly respected specialist recruitment consultancy with an excellent reputation across the Civil Engineering, Infrastructure, Rail and Construction markets.

Due to an internal promotion, they are looking for an ambitious Senior Recruitment Consultant to take over a warm, high-performing desk and continue its success.

The Role

You’ll manage an established portfolio of clients and candidates across the Civil Engineering and Infrastructure sectors, developing existing relationships while identifying new business opportunities.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Managing an established desk with live vacancies and active clients.
  • Building and developing relationships with contractors, consultancies and infrastructure businesses.
  • Sourcing and placing skilled professionals across Civil Engineering, Highways, Rail and Utilities.
  • Managing the full recruitment lifecycle from business development through to placement.
  • Growing your desk and contributing to the continued success of the wider team.
  • Supporting future team growth with opportunities to move into leadership.

About You

We’re looking for someone who has

  • Previous recruitment experience within Civil Engineering, Infrastructure, Rail, Highways, Utilities or Construction.
  • A proven track record of billing and developing client relationships.
  • Strong business development and account management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • A driven, ambitious approach with aspirations to progress into management or leadership.

What’s on Offer?

  • Basic salary of

£40,000 – £60,000 depending on experience.

  • Established warm desk with live vacancies.
  • Uncapped tiered commission structure paying
  • 10% – 35%
  • Hybrid working with home working every Wednesday.
  • Clear progression to Divisional Leadership and Director level.
