Independent recruitment agency for temporary Construction and Engineering personnel is seeking a Trainee Consultant to join a busy T&L team. Your journey will begin with a 6-month focus on resourcing. As you grow in the role, you’ll progress into a Trainee Consultant, taking charge of your own patch!
Responsibilities
- Resourcing of Labourers, Groundworkers, Bricklayers, Carpenters, Electricians, Roofers, Plasterers, Drivers, etc.
- Advertising vacancies by placing adverts in a wide range of media.
- Resourcing candidates via database, job boards, and referrals.
- Referencing and checking workers have the correct certificates (CSCS/PPE).
- Receiving and reviewing applications and creating a shortlist.
Background skills
- Recruitment industry or Trades background is highly desirable or sales experience (B2B or B2C).
- Happy to pick up the phone and make calls.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
