£32,000–£38,000 basic + uncapped commission | Long-term route to equity
An ambitious specialist recruitment company operating across the clean-energy and net-zero markets is seeking an experiencedRecruitment Delivery Consultantto join its growing London team.
This is a genuine delivery-only position. The business operates a permanently split model, with a dedicated client-facing team responsible for winning vacancies and a specialist delivery team focused entirely on filling them.
You will not be expected to cold-call prospective clients, negotiate terms, generate vacancies or carry a business-development target.
The Opportunity
Working alongside the Delivery Manager and closely with the Managing Director, you will recruit for established clients that have already committed to using the business.
Many clients engage the company against longer-term hiring plans, providing a consistent flow of live vacancies rather than relying on sporadic, one-off assignments.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Sourcing and engaging passive candidates
- Managing multiple live searches simultaneously
- Understanding candidates’ motivations, ambitions and reasons for considering a move
- Assessing whether each opportunity represents the right career step
- Providing honest and consultative career advice
- Managing candidates throughout the recruitment and interview process
- Maintaining accurate records and delivering against agreed hiring timescales
The company recruits from technical and operational appointments through to senior leadership across:
- Electric vehicle charging
- Solar energy
- Battery storage
- Hydrogen
- Renewable energy
- Transport and energy decarbonisation
Previous experience within these markets would be beneficial but is not essential, as comprehensive sector training will be provided.
Technology and Support
The business has invested significantly in recruitment technology designed to remove administration and allow consultants to spend more time speaking with candidates.
You will have access to advanced market-mapping and sourcing technology, automated call notes, live vacancy and candidate reporting, and tools supporting research, administration, formatting and candidate follow-up.
The aim is to enable each consultant to manage and fill considerably more vacancies than would normally be possible within a traditional recruitment environment.
Salary and Benefits
- £32,000–£38,000 basic salary, depending on experience
- Uncapped commission with no artificial thresholds or capped bands
- Monthly, quarterly and annual incentives
- Regular salary and progression reviews linked to performance
- Clear route into a senior position as the delivery team expands
- Long-term opportunity to participate in the future ownership of the business
- Office-based role in the Liverpool Street/Aldgate area
The company intends to give its earliest employees the opportunity to become part of its longer-term ownership structure. Further details regarding how this is expected to work will be explained during the interview process.
About You
This opportunity would suit a recruiter who:
- Genuinely enjoys candidate sourcing, headhunting and delivery
- Wants to focus on recruitment without business-development responsibilities
- Has experience within agency recruitment, direct sourcing or a delivery-focused recruitment role
- Is confident engaging passive candidates
- Takes a consultative approach and asks intelligent questions
- Can work autonomously without close supervision
- Is organised and capable of managing several searches simultaneously
- Is ambitious, energetic and motivated by measurable results
- Enjoys working within a small, visible and high-performing team
This is a specialist delivery position by design and is unlikely to suit someone seeking a broader 360° recruitment role or a low-pressure, highly structured environment.
The Company
The company is a specialist recruitment consultancy supporting organisations involved in the decarbonisation of transport and energy. Based in London, it operates across the UK, Europe and North America.
Its long-term approach is centred on becoming a genuine workforce partner, helping clients develop stronger internal hiring capabilities while continuing to support their specialist recruitment requirements.
The business also supports environmental and educational initiatives, including tree planting linked to successful placements and a schools programme introducing students to careers across electric vehicles, renewable energy and hydrogen.
This vacancy is for a permanent, full-time role based in the UK. Applicants must have independent legal authorisation to live and work in the UK.
