Established agency is seeking a Permanent Consultant with experience of white-collar construction recruitment to manage a HOT desk focused on the supply of Civil Engineers for key infrastructure projects within the Rail and Highways sectors. This is an exceptional opening for an experienced Permanent Consultant to take advantage of key client accounts that include Balfour Beatty, Morgan Sindall, Vinci, BAM Nuthall, and Costain amongst others to build a profitable desk. Essentially, they are seeking an experienced consultant with excellent candidate attraction and account management skills.
Salary £25,000 to £40,000 (DOE), Commission Structure to 30% (no threshold), Car Allowance, 25 days holiday. Pay rises based on billing performance. A grown-up environment without restrictive KPIs.
Responsibilities
- Manage a hot desk focused on the supply of Civil Engineers for rail and highways infrastructure projects.
- Develop and maintain key client accounts (examples include Balfour Beatty, Morgan Sindall, Vinci, BAM Nuthall, Costain).
- Attract and place high-quality candidates while managing the end-to-end recruitment process.
- Collaborate with internal teams to build a profitable desk and meet business targets.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience within a Construction recruitment agency is essential.
- Experience with white-collar recruitment in civil engineering or related infrastructure sectors is preferred.
- Based in the UK with independent legal authorisation to live and work in the UK.
