Established 10 years ago, our client is experiencing strong growth, supported by additional investment to continue our ambitious trajectory. We operate from offices in Richmond-upon-Thames, recruiting for projects in Commercial & Retail Construction, Large Infrastructure, Data Centres, Public Sector Buildings, and Renewable Energy.
The Role
They are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their Construction team as a Junior Recruitment Consultant. You will be responsible for identifying candidates and building relationships with professionals such as Project Controls experts, Project Managers, Designers, and Planning Engineers. Your work will support talent mapping, building long-term pipelines, and managing high-profile recruitment campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Identify and attract Construction & Engineering professionals through direct sourcing, headhunting, networking, and innovative resourcing methods.
- Build and maintain a robust network and talent pool of active and passive candidates across key skill sets.
- Work closely with Account Managers to understand client requirements.
- Develop a strong understanding of our clients and their hiring needs.
- Track and analyse key metrics such as time-to-fill and quality of hire, presenting reports to senior management.
- Attend industry events and conferences to expand your professional network.
What We’re Looking For
- 6 months plus recruitment experience – All sectors considered
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to handle multiple priorities
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn
- Interest in the construction or engineering sector is a bonus
