An independent recruitment agency specialising in temporary Construction and Engineering personnel is seeking an experienced Recruiter with a strong blue-collar Trades & Labour background to manage an account-driven Trades & Labour desk. The desk is well-established and currently generating around £7,000 per week, offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced recruiter to step into a profitable and stable role with strong earning potential. This position would be ideal for an experienced Trades & Labour Recruitment Consultant who is looking to move away from a traditional 360° recruitment role into a more client-focused Account Management position.

Working Hours

- 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (core business hours)
Responsibilities
- Developing new and existing client accounts
- Contract negotiations and labour pricing
- Site visits to identify and plan for upcoming projects
- Acting as the main point of contact for client requests and queries
- Generating new business through existing customer networks
- Cross‑selling company services
- Client entertainment and relationship building
- Supporting the team with candidate delivery when required
Profile
- 5 + years’ proven track record in business development and delivery within the blue-collar Construction sector
- Demonstrable experience of developing existing client relationships and maximising account potential
- A consultative and persuasive relationship manager willing to invest time in building strong commercial partnerships
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage at all levels and work effectively within a close-knit team
