We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Recruitment Consultant seeking a client-facing 180° role focused on building and growing business relationships. Join a leading technical recruitment agency specialising in the STEM sectors. With a team of over 60 professionals based in Reading, we provide contract and permanent recruitment solutions to both blue-chip companies and SMEs across the UK.
As a Business Development Manager, you will be supported by the Senior Sales Manager and the Delivery Team. Your focus will be on generating new business and managing key accounts within the Engineering & Manufacturing sectors, delivering tailored recruitment solutions and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and target new business opportunities within the Engineering & Manufacturing sectors.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients.
- Manage your own sales pipeline and deliver results in line with KPIs.
- Develop tailored recruitment solutions that meet client needs.
- Achieve personal and team sales targets, contributing to overall business growth.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong background in recruiting within the Engineering & Manufacturing sectors.
- Experience in new business acquisition, cold calling, and key account management.
- Ability to work independently with excellent time-management and organisational skills.
- Motivated by performance-based rewards and driven to achieve high sales figures.
- Full UK driving licence and ability to travel as required.
