We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Recruitment Consultant seeking a client-facing 180° role focused on building and growing business relationships. Join a leading technical recruitment agency specialising in the STEM sectors. With a team of over 60 professionals based in Reading, we provide contract and permanent recruitment solutions to both blue-chip companies and SMEs across the UK.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be supported by the Senior Sales Manager and Delivery Team. Your focus will be on generating new business and managing key accounts within the Blue- & White-Collar Construction sectors, delivering tailored recruitment solutions and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and target new business opportunities within the Blue- & White-Collar Construction sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients.
  • Manage your own sales pipeline and deliver results in line with KPIs.
  • Develop tailored recruitment solutions that meet client needs.
  • Achieve personal and team sales targets, contributing to overall business growth.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong background in recruiting within the Blue or White Construction sectors.
  • Experience in new business acquisition, cold calling, and key account management.
  • Ability to work independently with excellent time-management and organisational skills.
  • Motivated by performance-based rewards and driven to achieve high sales figures.
  • Full UK driving licence and ability to travel as required.
