My client, a well-established recruitment agency with over 20 years’ experience in the Building & Construction, Office Support, and Warehouse & Distribution sectors, is seeking a Recruitment Consultant to join their team. They currently operate warm desks in the fast-paced Driving & Industrial (D&I) and Soft FM & Office Support sectors. Prior experience in these sectors is desirable but not essential — the key is a willingness to learn and adapt. You’ll be part of a supportive, professional team of 14 in a busy, collaborative office.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates to ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Manage the recruitment process from start to finish, including posting jobs, sourcing candidates, screening, coordinating interviews, and negotiating offers.
- Stay informed on industry trends and market developments to provide valuable insights to clients and candidates.
- Work closely with team members to achieve departmental goals and targets.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to clients and candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Recruitment Consultant, ideally supplying temporary workers to the Industrial or Driving sectors (other sectors will be considered).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Knowledge of recruitment best practices and relevant employment legislation.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Drive and motivation to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits
- Competitive salary: £28,000–£35,000 per annum + 10–15% commission.
- Hybrid working – 1 day per week from home.
- 25 days annual leave.

- Core business hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
