Our success is built on a proactive approach, a deep understanding of clients and candidates, and a strong awareness of market trends and industry sectors. My client, a well-established recruitment agency with over 20 years’ experience in the Building & Construction, Office Support, and Warehouse & Distribution sectors, is seeking a Recruitment Consultant to join their team. They currently operate warm desks in the fast-paced Driving & Industrial (D&I) and Soft FM & Office Support sectors. Prior experience in these sectors is desirable but not essential — the key is a willingness to learn and adapt. You’ll be part of a supportive, professional team of 14 in a busy, collaborative office.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Manage the recruitment process from start to finish, including posting jobs, sourcing candidates, screening, coordinating interviews, and negotiating offers.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and market developments to provide valuable insights to clients and candidates.
  • Work closely with team members to achieve departmental goals and targets.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to clients and candidates throughout the recruitment process.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Recruitment Consultant, ideally supplying temporary workers to the Industrial or Driving sectors (other sectors will be considered).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Knowledge of recruitment best practices and relevant employment legislation.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Drive and motivation to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

  • Competitive salary: £28,000–£35,000 per annum + 10–15% commission.
  • Hybrid working – 1 day per week from home.
