We are seeking reliable and professional HGV Class 2 Nightshift Drivers to join our client's growing team based in Edmonton.
This role involves the safe and efficient delivery of goods such as coffee, milk, soft drinks, and other related items.
This is a great opportunity for experienced drivers who are passionate about providing excellent service and working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Shift start time 20:00 - Sunday to Thursday.
- Operate HGV2 vehicle on pre-planned drop routes and safely deliver palletised goods such as coffee, milk, soft drinks, and other related items.
- Break down pallets and handball (manually handle) goods as required at delivery points.
- Some deliveries may be offloaded by forklift, though this is not frequent.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service, ensuring deliveries are made accurately and on time.
- Follow all health, safety, and transport regulations.
- You will be doing up to 20 drops per shift.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks before and after shifts
- Secure loads safely and correctly before transportation
- Follow planned delivery routes and maintain timely schedules
- Report any incidents, vehicle issues, or delays to both the client and REC Source
- Ensure full compliance with Tachograph and driver hours regulations
- Safely operate a pump trolley for deliveries where required
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence with a valid Class 2 (Category C) entitlement, held for at least 18 months.
- No more than 6 penalty points on licence
- Valid CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence) and Digital Tachograph Card
