We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Van Drivers to join our team on a temporary or temporary to permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work with leading companies and gain valuable experience in the transport sector.
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 07:00 – 16:00
PAYE Rates: PAYE: £12.00 per hour. Holiday accrual on top of the PAYE Rate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Making multi drop deliveries in a timely manner.
- Complete deliveries and collections as scheduled and/or requested.
- Ensure all goods are transported safely and securely.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Engage in manual handling when making deliveries (heavy lifting).
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with the logistics team and customers.
- Provide excellent customer service to every client you deliver to.
Requirements:
- Valid B category and clean driving record (no DR, IN endorsements).
- No more than 6 points.
- Proven experience in a similar role desired.
- Good understanding of traffic laws and regulations.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
