The Store is part of the Morleys Stores Group, an independent group of 7 department stores based in and around London. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Sales Manager to support the Ground Floor Manager in leading the teams on the ground floor including Cosmetics, Menswear & Handbags. You will assist in managing both the in-house team and several account managers from our luxury cosmetic brand partners. Experience of working in a similar environment within cosmetics would be a strong advantage.

The Role:
  • You will be motivating and developing an established team to reach their full potential.
  • Empowering your team to achieve targets and maximise sales.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills are key to this role; your energy and enthusiasm will be used to its full capacity in maintaining standards and encouraging your team to give excellent customer service.
The Candidate must be:
  • An experienced Assistant Manager with a proven track of delivering results.
  • An excellent communicator who has the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • You will need to enjoy working under pressure and be able to use your commercial skills to identify opportunities to the benefit of the business.
