An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced van driver (3.5 tonne) to join our Goods movement team. Ely's in Wimbledon is the Morleys Stores Group prestigious flagship department store, Elys is the fashionable heart of the Wimbledon shopping experience, with a reputation for first-class service offering premium aspirational products.
Morleys Stores Group is an independent group of 7 department stores based in and around London. Each of our stores comes with its own unique heritage and position within the local communities, and we continue to be the go-to location for premium fashion and cosmetics on our high streets. We are proud to continue the tradition of excellent customer service delivered through our fantastic teams.
To be great in this role you will need to be a real ambassador for the Company as you will be interacting with Customers in their homes. You will need to:
- Enjoy meeting new people.
- Take pride in your appearance.
- Be fantastic at communicating and have a calm professional manner.
- Have a clean driving licence.
The Role
- Delivery of goods to the customers' homes.
- Assembling of furniture and bed in the customers' homes.
- Checking accessibility of the product in the customers' home.
- Loading and unloading supplier deliveries to the store.
- Assist with the movement of products around the store.
- Deliver in-store transfers to other stores within the Morleys Group.
- Complete the general administration associated with the role.
Have the flexibility to work 3 out of 7 days.
