We're looking for a Customer Service & Export Administrator to join our team and play a key role in ensuring excellent service for our customers across the UK and international markets. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills, export administration experience, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service, to be part of our business - manufacturing and distributing world class malt.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing customer orders from receipt through to delivery, ensuring a seamless experience every step of the way.
- Processing customer purchase orders into sales orders accurately and efficiently.
- Liaising with Planning and Warehouse teams regarding product availability.
- Coordinating transport bookings with our logistics partners.
- Completing export and customs documentation.
- Obtaining and processing external documentation, including Certificates of Origin and Phytosanitary Certificates.
- Preparing and issuing final customer documentation.
- Keeping customers updated on order and delivery progress.
- Handling enquiries from customers, agents, and distributors.
- Raising and progressing customer complaints in collaboration with the Customer Complaints Lead.
- Supporting Sales Managers with customer sales data.
- Assisting with sales quotations and logistics cost recovery charges.
- Providing support and cover for colleagues during annual leave and absences.
- Contributing positively to team objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
