Roomes Fashion & Home Store in Upminster is expanding and is looking to hire a Loss Prevention Officer. Morleys Stores Group is an independent group of 7 department stores based in and around London, known for premium fashion and housewares.
We have an opportunity for a full-time Loss Prevention Officer to join our small Professional Security team. We are seeking enthusiastic and dynamic individuals who will assist in maintaining a safe and secure environment for both customers and staff. Being a visual deterrent means that you are also an ambassador for the store and will be interactive with both customers and staff, providing friendly customer service where necessary.
This is a varied Loss Prevention Officer role and duties will include:
- Patrolling the store and staff areas
- Monitoring the CCTV
- Conducting staff searches and till checks
- Liaising with the store team to ensure compliance with Loss Prevention and Health and Safety
- Dealing with customer enquiries whilst you are on the Sales Floor
What you need:
- A calm and confident manner and approach to difficult situations
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Be willing to be trained as a First Aider
