The Role:
The role of Commercial Partnerships Manager will form part of the Senior Management Team reporting directly to the CEO. They will focus on building engaging, pro-active commercial partnerships across our client base.
Specific Duties include:
- Take responsibility for the delivery of all aspects of commercial sales and service
- Identify and deliver innovative opportunities for revenue growth
- Take the lead in ideas and initiatives that drive proposition growth and development
- Liaise with all Divisions across the business ensuring sales growth that also exceed clients' expectations
- Demonstrate a passion for South Africa and our partners, in all interactions (with clients and suppliers)
- Lead a highly focused team of direct reports (1x UK, 2x SA)
- Data analysis & planning report construction

Experience required:
- Experience of the travel industry (understanding of tour operating B2C and/or B2B)
- Ability to interpret product and sales / identify and motivate opportunity
- Commercial acumen - negotiation, persuasion
- Can spot commercial opportunities and bring entrepreneurial flair
- Strong business development ability
- Capable of shaping a new role in a high trust environment
