We are looking for an experienced Ecommerce Executive to take full ownership of the day-to-day performance, presentation and optimisation of a fast-growing Shopify store. As an Ecommerce Executive, you will be the go-to person for everything on-site from product launches and promotions to CRO, UX improvements and site health. This is a hands-on, detail-driven role for someone who knows Shopify inside out, loves solving problems, and takes pride in delivering a seamless, high-converting customer journey. Working closely with the founders and creative team, you will play a key role in driving commercial performance as the brand continues to scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Shopify & Website Management
- Own the Shopify backend, including product catalogue, collections and app integrations
- Maintain site health through regular front- and back-end checks
- Optimise workflows using bulk-action tools to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Own on-site CRO and commercial performance, tracking key eCommerce KPIs
- Support pricing updates, product launches and range changes
- Drive conversion through upsell, cross-sell and bundling strategies
- Content, UX & Optimisation
- Act as the guardian of the brand experience across the website
- Ensure all product content is accurate, consistent and up to date
- Build and optimise product, collection and landing pages using SEO best practices
- Own QA for site updates, launches and promotional activity
- Continuously improve navigation, checkout flow, site speed and mobile experience
- Manage on-site promotions, discount codes and seasonal sales
- Performance & Collaboration
- Use analytics and user-behaviour tools to inform ongoing optimisation
- Produce clear, concise performance summaries for stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with marketing and creative teams to ensure consistent messaging
- Manage third-party integrations and liaise with external developers when required
- Stay up to date with Shopify updates and eCommerce best practices
Skills & Experience
- 4+ years experience managing Shopify websites for an eCommerce or retail brand
- Strong, hands-on knowledge of Shopify
- Experience using bulk-action tools such as Matrixify, Hextom or similar
- Solid understanding of on-site SEO, UX and CRO principles
- Highly organised, proactive and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working independently in a part-time or freelance capacity
- Confident using analytics to support data-driven decision-making
