Join Muntons as Engineering Support/Waste Water Plant Operator. A hands-on, supportive role ensuring safe, efficient maltings operations, with training and career development. Our customers range from multinational food and beverage producers to start-ups and small independent craft brewers and distillers.
This is a hands-on role involving general maintenance, basic mechanical repairs, plant lubrication, and ensuring high standards of housekeeping within engineering and waste water areas. With full training and support, you will:
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised engineering workshop
- Digitally log reactive and PPM works
- Conduct equipment checks
- Perform basic building repairs (including painting, plastering)
- Carry out mechanical maintenance (including lubrication, belts, bearings)
- Maintain a safe and hygienic workplace
- Order specific parts according to the job in hand
- Identify issues then communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams
