RECfinancial have been engaged by a successful SME based near Loughborough to recruit an experienced Part Time Bookkeeper.
The Opportunity
Our client, a well-established, owner-managed SME, is looking to appoint an experienced Bookkeeper on a permanent basis. You’ll report directly to the Managing Director and work alongside a fellow accounts professional, playing a key role in the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of the business. Due to the company's location, this role is commutable from Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping, accounts and basic reporting
- Payroll, PAYE and CIS (Construction Industry Scheme)
- Purchase and sales ledger
- Invoice checking and posting
- Subcontractor payments via CIS
- General office administration
- Office-based role
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in a hands-on accounting role
- Knowledge of payroll and CIS is highly desirable
- Strong communication and admin skills
- Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail
- Organised, deadline-driven and proactive
- Comfortable working independently
- Confident using accounting systems and general IT
The Package
- Permanent appointment
- Salary: £30,000 – £32,000 (depending on experience, Pro Rata)
