Part-Time Bookkeeper - Flexible / hybrid working

If you’re an experienced Bookkeeper looking for a brand new challenge, with flexible hours, hybrid working and a fabulous work environment, this is the perfect role for you. This established and highly reputable Coventry Practice is looking to add to its current team. They want a professional, friendly and driven individual to help assist their Business team, working closely with clients, managing relationships and ensuring all work delivered is of the highest standard.

Responsibilities

  • Handling Bookkeeping for a variety of clients
  • Processing sales and purchase invoices with accuracy and efficiency
  • Bank reconciliations and maintaining ledgers
  • Processing and handling VAT returns
  • Use of Sage and Xero to update records accordingly
  • Supporting clients with day-to-day financial queries
  • Assisting with payroll processing and CIS returns
  • Assisting and preparing basic management reports and financial summaries
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and HMRC regulations

Qualifications

  • AAT qualified or otherwise qualified by experience. Our client is open
  • Strong working knowledge of Xero, Sage, and Microsoft Excel would be ideal
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines
  • Confident communicator with a client‑focused approach
  • A team player who can also work independently
