RECfinancial are currently shortlisting exclusively for this Leicester based business in the search for a Bookkeeper on a permanent hybrid basis. Our client has recently celebrated a huge achievement within the industry. Given the fabulous approach to recruitment, our client may well consider Bookkeepers who are currently on their journey to becoming fully accomplished. Experience within Practice however is key. This is one role you don\'t want to miss out on. The role is almost remote so our client will also consider candidates from Leicestershire, Derbyshire and Lincolnshire.
So, what’s the purpose of the Bookkeeper?
Reporting to a very supportive Manager, you will support various aspects of general bookkeeping within the business to contribute to the achievement of financial objectives.
Responsibilities
Entering and reconciling financial data in accounting software (Xero experience highly valued).
Reconciling customer, supplier, and bank accounts.
Preparing and reviewing VAT returns.
Managing workflow, meeting client expectations, and adding value through expertise.
Building strong client relationships to enhance service and performance.
About You
Minimum 2years’ experience in practice or the accounting industry.
AAT qualified, part qualified, or qualified by experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach.
Proficiency with accounting software; Xero preferred.
Committed to developing professional and technical knowledge.
