An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager to join the team to develop their Yorkshire-based business.

This role involves generating sustainable business with key clients and local companies, with an emphasis on SME companies.

They would like the successful candidate to have a proven track record within outbound recruitment sales, as the role will involve visiting client premises to determine recruitment needs, leading to business conversion, generating leads and new business.

  • The role will be autonomous, whilst working with a wider BD team and will include:
  • Canvassing prospective clients, visiting premises, and selling the services of the agency.
  • Thoroughly understanding the local recruitment marketplace.
  • Growing the existing customer database from proactive sales and regular contact.
  • Establishing opportunities for further growth.
  • Understanding the competitor marketplace and future opportunities available.
  • Preparing supplier agreements and proposals.
  • Personal diary management.
