We are currently working with a well-established business based in Blackpool who are recruiting for a newly created position of Senior Accounts Administrator to work within their busy financial team. Due to growth in the company over recent years, they are looking for an experienced Accounts Administrator who will support the efficient running of the finance function by maintaining accurate records, coordinating financial processes and providing excellent support to colleagues and suppliers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Process and record both internal overhead invoicing and product purchasing invoices.
  • Responsible for the expenses across the site, managing the receipts and checking all payments.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and paper filing systems for all financial import and export documentation.
  • Responsible for the full sales ledger cycle, including raising of invoices, accurate and timely billing, customer data and pricing accuracy.
  • Manage the Purchase ledger across the site with 3-way match system.
  • Ensure all import and export documents are maintained in accordance with compliance procedures and all aspects of HMRC/TAX administration.
  • Oversee credit control across the site and customer accounts, building solid customer relationships to ensure timely collections and managing any cashflow risks.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a proactive administrator who enjoys working with processes, systems and to deadlines.
  • Have at least 3 years experience within a UK based finance team.
  • Have worked across transactional processing for 3 years.
  • Possess strong IT skills including Excel and Sage systems.
  • Have a willingness to develop their learning and be part of a team.
