Our client is a great Lancashire business who operate across multiple sites and are now looking for a technically strong and operationally focused Financial Controller . The business has gone through an exciting period of growth over the last few years, through organic delivery and acquisitions, and this role will be pivotal in maximising on that investment. You will actively look to strengthen the commercial mindset and acumen across all departments, and well as developing insightful reporting information to understand deeper the ROI and commercial growth. Key Responsibilities as Financial Controller will include: Evolve the current reporting package with both monthly end management accounts and associated forecasting and budgeting reports Enhance the current controls and reporting processes across the sites to have a cohesive and standardised reporting structure across all sites. Establish realtime commercial MI metrics to continually review and reforecast. Assist with the due diligence, integration and investment of future acquisitions. Lead and support the growth of the finance function, developing people within individual career aspirations. Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) Strong commercial acumen with a strategic mindset, able to deliver at every level across the business Strong leader within the SME environment and able to get the best of the workforce. Experience in M&A activity and integration work. Desirable experience of Power BI and development of data driven reporting.
