Our client is a well-established and highly regarded brand across the Northwest, with a strong market presence and multiple operating sites. Backed by Private Equity and entering an exciting phase of continued growth, the business is now looking to appoint an experienced Financial Controller to support its ambitious plans.
This is a commercially focused role offering the opportunity to work closely with the senior leadership team and Private Equity stakeholders, with significant responsibility for internal financial controls, management information, development of commercial acumen and M&A activity.
The Role
As Financial Controller, you will take responsibility for the financial control and reporting across the business, while developing the management information and commercial insight required to support future growth.
A key focus will be to establish a structured, data-driven management information framework, using data and reporting tools to provide clear and accessible information to senior management and the wider business.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Taking ownership of internal financial control and reporting processes across a multi-site operation
- Present the monthly reporting pack at board level and investor level
- Responsible for the statutory reporting and all HMRC requirements
- Developing a robust and structured management information and KPI framework
- Establishing clear reporting around ROI and return on investment
- Developing xgikmsk reporting to identify and monitor customer trends, behaviours and profitability
- Developing commercial dashboards and reporting for senior management and Private Equity stakeholders
- Providing detailed analysis of site-level performance, profitability and KPIs
- Working closely with operational teams to understand and improve business performance
