Our client is based in the Skipton area and are currently looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner to join their business due to expansion. The role will work closely with the leadership team, and you will be responsible for producing the full financial reporting pack and commercial analysis from across the site. It's an exciting time to join the business and become a key decision maker as they continue to grow; this is just the start of their next phase of the company's history.

The client is a large business in the region and is also part of an international Group; therefore, experience within a PE backed business who are part of a larger Group structure would be advantageous. The client has a strong history within its field and a solid customer base and reputation; therefore, it is important you can add value across the organisation on large commercial projects. This is a highly visible role where your analysis and recommendations will directly impact profitability and ongoing growth.

Key Responsibilities as Finance Business Partner will include:

  • Partner with manufacturing and operations teams to drive financial performance
  • Deliver robust budgeting, forecasting, re-forecasting and commercial variance reporting
  • Provide clear and comprehensible financial insights to support key decision-making and strategic influence
  • Identify risks and opportunities throughout the manufacturing cycle, implementing recommendations where necessary
  • Drive better internal cost controls, production efficiency initiatives, and investment decisions
  • Develop financial models and specific projects, continually improving the bottom line
  • Improve processes and controls, as well as develop the reporting accuracy

The successful candidate will display some of the following attributes:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
  • Strong commercial acumen with a strategic mindset
  • Experience in a manufacturing or operational performance
  • Confident communicator with the ability to liaise with the senior leadership team and external stakeholders
