We are a privately owned, niche construction company known for delivering high-quality, specialist builds across the Northwest. We work closely with every customer and look to build solid relationships and a network with the sector. With every project being unique, we pride ourselves on attention to detail, technical expertise, and strong client relationships.

We are looking for an experienced Estimator to join our team at head office in Preston. The role will play a critical part in the early stages of our projects, working closely with both the sales team and clients to develop accurate, detailed, and competitive cost estimates.

As an Estimator you will be involved in:

  • Produce detailed cost estimates based on drawings, specs, and client briefs
  • Work alongside the sales team to support tenders and proposals
  • Liaise directly with clients to clarify scope, materials, and expectations
  • Source accurate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
  • Provide clear breakdowns and justifications for costings
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure smooth handover and project delivery
  • Monitor and adjust estimates throughout the project lifecycle when required
  • Maximise the margin control and profitability of the project, continually monitoring costs

You will demonstrate the following qualities within the Estimator role:

  • Preferably experience in construction (ideally in bespoke or specialist projects)
  • Strong commercial awareness with WIP and cost management
  • Confidence working directly with clients and internal teams
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to costing
  • Proficiency with estimating software and Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple estimates and meet deadlines
