Our client based in the heart of East Lancashire near Burnley is looking to recruit an experienced Operational/Cost Accountant to work across multiple sites within this large FMCG. The company is a well-established business with several different product offerings, making the role fast-paced and diverse with no two days the same as you coordinate across sites to meet customer deadlines.

You will ideally have experience in manufacturing and/or distribution and be fully versed in the financial performance and controls required in such an environment.

Your core duties as Operations Accountant will include:

  • Responsible for the reporting of all site financials and reporting metrics across the two sites.
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting process for the business to control expenditure.
  • Work closely with a variety of stakeholders to deliver against company performance metrics, providing accurate KPIs.
  • Provide accurate financial planning and forecasts to develop process improvement.
  • Manage the capital expenditure across multiple sites.
  • Manage the costing elements of the sites including production, labour, and materials.

We are looking for someone who has experience in a commercial finance and partnering capacity who can work with both finance and non-financial personnel.
