We’re looking for a Head of Financial Operations to join our leadership team at Reboxed. This is a high-impact role for a commercially minded, data-driven operator who can connect finance, operations, and strategy in a fast-scaling purpose led circular tech company.
You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the finance function and helping us on our mission rehome 100 million devices.
We need someone who can own the financial engine steering cash, margin, and performance while helping shape the decisions that define our future.
This isn’t just about reporting numbers. You’ll sit at the heart of the business, working directly with the founders to model opportunities, challenge costs, and improve the model economics.
You’ll oversee the financial rhythm of the business from supplier margins and pricing models to scenario planning and investment forecasting. We’ve outsourced the basics, so this role is about getting your hands dirty where it counts deep in the numbers, margins, and models that shape the business. You’ll turn financial insight into action, helping us run tighter, smarter, and faster.
You’ll work closely with founders and every function from supply to partnerships bringing financial clarity and commercial discipline to every decision we make.

About you
You’re a proactive, commercially fluent finance professional who loves using numbers to drive better decisions. You can move between detail and strategy equally comfortable in a model, a margin review or an investor management meeting.
You know how to work across departments, understand supplier and channel economics, and can simplify complex data into actionable insight.
You’ll be a key partner to the founders and wider leadership team, helping us steer toward profitable, sustainable growth and the role will come with equity as part of the package so you have skin in the game.
You’ll likely have:
- 4–7 years of finance experience, ideally in a scale-up or high-growth environment
- Strong analytical and modelling skills (Excel, Xero, Airtable, or BI tools)
- Proven ability to drive margin improvement and build commercial frameworks
- ACCA / CIMA qualification or equivalent experience
- A curious, hands-on approach with an ability to balance structure with scale up pace
Bonus Points
Industry experience in areas such as recommerce, mobile phones, eCommerce, Circular economy, Logistics, and retail preferred.
Experience working in a fast-growing startup environment (Seed – Series B).
Commercial acumen, high proficiency in financial analysis & modelling.
Your role
Strategic & Operational Finance
- Own the financial rhythm of the business — forecasting, cash management, and performance tracking
- Build and maintain commercial models across suppliers, partners, and channels
- Support founders in strategic decisions, investment planning, and scenario modelling
- Lead quarterly reforecasts and help shape the roadmap to profitability
Margin & Commercial Analysis
- Partner with Supply, Operations, and Commercial teams to improve supplier margins
- Analyse partner P&Ls (Fonehouse, Uswitch, etc.) and recommend optimisations
- Develop real-time dashboards for gross margin, cashflow, and performance metrics
- Own pricing models and cost structures for trade-in and resale programmes
Financial Reporting
- Deliver monthly reporting packs with clear, actionable insights for leadership and investors
- Oversee outsourced bookkeeping and ensure accuracy in management accounts
- Translate data into stories that inform business and investor decisions
Cash & Control
- Manage cashflow, payment cycles, and supplier relationships
- Build a 13-week rolling cashflow and support fundraising readiness
- Ensure cost discipline and spend visibility across departments
