As a Concept Art Intern, you will have the chance to expand your skills and knowledge in concept art while being guided by our talented art team. Your role as a concept art intern is to grow your knowledge and passion for concept art. You must have an inspiring and exciting concept art portfolio of educational or personal projects.
Responsibilities:
- With feedback and guidance from concept leads; create and iterate concept artwork.
- Begin to develop an understanding of best practices, production pipelines and workflows.
- Reference game design documents to gain an understanding of the project.
- Track and update the progress of day-to-day tasks using JIRA.
- Collaborate with project team on task direction and quality of own work.
- Implement and incorporate feedback from art leads and senior concept artists into work.
Requirements:
- You are completing a university placement year, are a career switcher or an aspiring concept artist with minimal Game Development industry experience.
- You have a concept art portfolio containing personal or educational projects.
- You're a self-learner with a passion and excitement for game development and concept art.
- Willing to incorporate modern concept pipelines such as 3D elements, photo-bashing, and other emergent technologies.
- You have a developing knowledge of narrative and visual storytelling.
Benefits:
This role is only open to applicants who have the permanent right to work in the UK. We are unable to provide or take over visa sponsorship, either now or in the future.
